Barbara Eden- UPDATE on” Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”
Â
Barbara Eden from Jersey City; the Realtor, not the Actress appeared on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’s “Â special Edition of “Famous Names Week”
This is a follow- up on how she did on the show
Barbara Eden, walked away with $25,000 in winnings after incorrectly guessing the answer to the $50,000 question on Wednesday’s episode of “Famous Names Week” on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.” She started in the hot seat on Tuesday’s show, where she made it up to the $25,000 question. She continued as a holdover contestant on Wednesday’s show, where she started by looking at the $50,000 question with no lifelines left.
Barbara’s $50,000 question was: Category, ‘What a Bargain!’ – “Which of these U.S. states was not formed at least in part from land bought during the Louisiana Purchase? A: Minnesota , B: Arkansas , C: Colorado , D: Illinois.” Barbara guessed the answer to be “C,” but unfortunately, the correct answer was “D.” Barbara walked away with $25,000 in winnings.

Amy Stewart’s new book, Wicked Plants: The Weed That Killed Lincoln’s Mother and Other Botanical Atrocities
A tree that sheds poison daggers; a glistening red seed that stops the heart; a shrub that causes paralysis; a vine that strangles; and a leaf that triggered a war. In Wicked Plants, Stewart takes on over two hundred of Mother Nature’s most appalling creations. It’s an A to Z of plants that kill, maim, intoxicate, and otherwise offend. You’ll learn which plants to avoid (like exploding shrubs), which plants make themselves exceedingly unwelcome (like the vine that ate the South), and which ones have been killing for centuries (like the weed that killed Abraham Lincoln’s mother).

Pacquiao Cements Best P4P Reputation At
Hatton’s Expense
Â
After the first minute of the recent Ricky Hatton-Manny Pacquiao tiff, it only became of matter of when ‘Pac Man’ would starch the Britisher, not IF he would. While the pre-fight odds favored Pacquiao (bettors rooting for the favorite had to lay $250 to win $100), and many fight game cognoscenti figured the Fightin’ Filipino to eventually lay waste to the pallid U.K’er, absolutely no one was prepared for the brutal and sudden demolition of the heretofore resilient Hatton.
