    Joe Pantoliano is a beloved and renowned American actor of the screen and stage. He has over 200 credits to his name. On the big screen, Joe is known for his roles in such films as “The Goonies,” “La Bamba,” “The Fugitive,” “The Matrix,” “Memento,” and the “Bad Boys” trilogy. Joe has also appeared on numerous television series over the years, including “Hill Street Blues,” “NYPD Blue,” “The Sopranos,” and “Sense8.”

    Some of his best career roles include Ralph Cifaretto on The Sopranos, Bob Keane in La Bamba, Cypher in The Matrix, Teddy in Memento, Francis Fratelli in The Goonies, Guido “the Killer Pimp” in Risky Business and Jennifer Tilly’s violent mobster boyfriend Caesar in Bound. He also played Deputy U.S. Marshal Cosmo Renfro in both The Fugitive and U.S. Marshals.

    ?Joe won an Emmy in 2003 for Best Supporting Actor for his work on The Sopranos. He was also recently nominated for an Emmy as an Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for The Last of Us.

    He is often referred to as “Joey Pants,” because of the difficulty some people have pronouncing his Italian surname Pantoliano.

    Joe was born on September 12, 1951, in Hoboken, New Jersey, to Italian-American parents Dominic and Mary. His father was a factory foreman and hearse driver, while his mother was a seamstress and bookie.

    As a youth, Joe moved with his family to the New Jersey borough of Cliffside Park, where he went to Cliffside Park High School. Later, he studied at the performing arts organization HB Studio in New York City.

    Joe will be interviewed by his daughter Daniella, a Hoboken girl who was raised on her Dad’s tales of growing up here. Daniella is now proud to call Hoboken home for over a decade. She serves as a teacher at a local school, the Hugs and Bugs Club.

His bold, character-driven works have been gaining real momentum among collectors – and tonight is your chance to preview the newest pieces first, meet Scott in person, and feel the energy behind the work.

    This new series is electric: raw gesture, emotional intensity, and a whimsical cast of creatures expressed through a visual language that is unmistakably his.

    About the ArtistScott Harbison is a self-taught artist based in Jersey City, known for his bold, whimsical, character-driven paintings. Raised in northern New Jersey, he grew up sketching and getting lost in cartoons – early influences that shaped the playful, off-kilter world found in his work today.
    As a teenager, Scott poured his creative energy into music, fronting punk bands and performing at iconic New York venues like Max’s Kansas City and CBGB’s. That raw, expressive spirit now runs through his paintings: loose gestures, quirky figures, and a visual language that feels spontaneous and alive.
    Scott returned to painting full-time in 2018, developing a steady, instinctive practice where creatures and characters emerge quickly from bold lines and immediate mark-making. His figures often feel mid-gesture or mid-story, inviting viewers into a world that is humorous, emotional, and slightly surreal.

    His work has been exhibited at Akwaaba Gallery in Newark, Gallery Lucida in Redbank, Ivy Brown Gallery in Manhattan, Barsky Gallery in Hoboken, and various other contemporary spaces throughout the tri-state area.     Mercy House Warms Hearts and Hands: 600+ Coats Distributed to Local Families

    More than 600 new and gently used coats were distributed across all three Mercy House locations.

    Hudson County Community College Foundation 28th Annual Gala Celebrates the College’s 50th Anniversary  

    The students and professional faculty chefs of Hudson County Community College’s (HCCC) nationally acclaimed Culinary Arts Institute are creating memorable cuisine and desserts for the HCCC Foundation’s 28thAnnual Gala Fundraiser on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

     Distinguished Service Award.     –

    Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is celebrating 50 years of preparing students to achieve their dreams and partnering with business leaders and the community to develop groundbreaking programs. 

    The HCCC Foundation has announced that it will hold its 28th Annual Gala on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6 p.m. The event will take place in the College’s Culinary Conference Center, 161 Newkirk Street in Jersey City, NJ. The evening will highlight five decades of progress in supporting and educating generations of HCCC students. Exceptional cuisine and desserts prepared by the HCCC Culinary Arts program’s chef professors and students will be served. 

    The HCCC Foundation will present the 2025 Distinguished Service Award to Provident Bank in recognition of its two decades of support to the College and the HCCC Foundation. Provident Bank was the recipient of the Foundation’s inaugural Distinguished Service Award in 2005.

    “We are proud to celebrate the evolution of Hudson County Community College, our Foundation, and our partnerships,” said HCCC President Dr. Christopher Reber. “One of the most important partnerships we have is with Provident Bank. Thanks to their generosity, the lives of hundreds of students have been transformed over the years.” 

    Among Provident Bank Foundation’s generous contributions to the College is a $100,000 Education Signature Grant investment that benefited 400 students in the award-winning Hudson Scholars program. Launched in 2021, the nationally recognized program drives student success through proactive academic advisement, financial stipends, high-impact educational experiences, and early academic intervention.

    HCCC started as a one-building “contract” college upon its founding in 1974 and today has grown to become one of the largest, most comprehensive colleges in New Jersey with three state-of-the-art locations in Hudson County. HCCC continues to build on its progress, meeting the challenges ahead as Hudson County grows and transforms.
