A new virus is being spammed across the Internet, sending e-mails requesting that Facebook login information be reset. Facebook users and others are being warned not to click on the attachments in emails that appear to be from Facebook, asking for a password reset confirmation. Users receive e-mail messages that appear to be from the social networking website and the e-mails have malicious attachments that will immediately infect computers once opened. Some of the actions of the virus include searching for and stealing passwords and login information to a variety of personal accounts, including banking information and investment accounts.

Liberty Science Center to Unveil Interactive Diabetes Exhibit
Diabetes: A Deeper Look, a unique, interactive traveling exhibit developed by the Detroit Science Center and made possible with support from sanofi-aventis U.S., will help raise national awareness about diabetes. The 2,500 square-foot exhibit, shaped as a walk-through blood vessel with 40,000 LED lights pulsating to the sound of a heartbeat, is designed to educate the American public about diabetes, diabetes treatment options and the role of insulin in the body.
On April 1, the exhibit will open at Jersey City’s Liberty Science Center, named one of the 10 best science centers in the country by Parents Magazine. Following its stop at the Center, the exhibit will embark on a nationwide tour from 2010 to 2012.

 Clifton based rock band Blisserine will host a benefit concert on March 25th  at 8 p.m.   at LUA Restaurant in Hoboken, NJ.

Truckers Gain Access to Millions of Dollars to Slash Air Pollution

 (Elizabeth, N.J. – March 10, 2010) Leading the way to cleaner air and healthier communities, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) unveiled a comprehensive agreement that will cut harmful pollution from the east coast’s busiest port. The states launched a $28 million truck replacement program, partially funded by $7 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which will replace old trucks with vehicles that meet stricter pollution standards. BAYONNE HIGH SCHOOL ART STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARDS AT EMERGING 2010 Art Competition
Amanda Unger and Lilian Makar were presented with awards for their artwork in the 22nd Annual Emerging Artists Exhibit sponsored by the Art Administrators of New Jersey. This exhibit featured artwork produced by students who are studying art in high schools throughout the state of New Jersey.

            Amanda, a junior, and Computer Graphics student of Mrs. Charlann Meluso, received a Merit Award for her image titled “Your Favorite Drug”.  It was a digital image of a snap shot of a prescription drug bottle spilling jewels onto a hand that is reaching into the photo, creating an illusion of a third dimension.
