HCCC Fine Arts Students to Display Works in Gallery at Jersey City’s Brennan Courthouse

JERSEY CITY, N.J. / April 30, 2012 — Hudson County Community College’s Fine Arts Department is currently exhibiting artwork of several students now through Monday, May 7, 2012. The exhibit is located at The Brennan Gallery, in the rotunda of the Justice William J. Brennan Jr. Courthouse, 583 Newark Avenue, Jersey City. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

HOBOKEN, N.J. -Stevens Institute of Technology has named Mr. Carlos Alomar as Distinguished Artist in Residence in the program of Music and Technology in the division of Technology and the Arts. Alomar brings a wealth of experience as a performer, producer, and innovator in the music industry and is the first to hold this prestigious position in the College of Arts & Letters (CAL) at Stevens.

 JERSEY CITY, N.J. / September 1, 2010 – Although they are from very different walks of life, each of the four speakers slated to appear in the Hudson County Community College 2010-2011 Lecture Series has worked to improve life and has acted as inspiration for thousands.

The series begins on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 with the appearance of Dr. Terry O’Banion, Director of the Community College Leadership Program at Walden University.
