The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey has announced their 2009 annual Walk for Wishes event on Sunday, October 18 at Liberty State Park located on Morris Pesin Drive in Jersey City, N.J. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. and the walk will kick off at 10:00 a.m. There will be additional activities for the entire family including arts and crafts, face painting, music and refreshments. A small number of local health departments and health care providers received initial shipments of nasal spray H1N1 flu vaccine today. Plans for the administration of the vaccine that arrived today and additional shipments that will continue to arrive are being finalized by providers.
