Art House Productions Announces Remaing Events for Jersey City Pride Month

Art House Productions (Executive Artistic Director Meredith Burns) is proud to present ten exciting events remaining in August in celebration of Jersey City Pride Month. Taking place at Art House Productions, located at 345 Marin Boulevard, this robust lineup underscores the organization’s commitment to amplifying LGBTQIA+ voices, fostering inclusivity, and creating accessible spaces for all.

From drag and dance to film, comedy, and community conversations, Art House’s Pride programming offers something for everyone. Designed to uplift and celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community, these events provide meaningful opportunities for connection, expression, and joy.

Proceeds from select events will benefit Jersey City Pride, directly supporting their mission of visibility, advocacy, and celebration.

5th Annual Vyshyvanka Charity 5K Run/Walk  at J. Owen Grundy Park Jersey City waterfront

Ukrainian Jersey City (a non-profit 501(c3) organization) warmly invites community members and all supporters to the 5th Annual Vyshyvanka Charity 5K Run/Walk, taking place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., along the scenic Jersey City Waterfront at J. Owen Grundy Park

Organized for the fifth consecutive year by the passionate team at Ukrainian Jersey City, this event embodies the spirit of unity, compassion, and solidarity. A remarkable running race dedicated to supporting this year’s cause, which is once again raising funds for one of their cornerstone projects, “Ambulances for Ukraine”.

12th Annual Jersey City Jazz Festival Announces Lineup for May festival

Riverview Jazz, the non-profit producer of the Jersey City Jazz Festival, has just announced the lineup for its ambitious 2025 festival. The annual event where hundreds of musicians perform for thousands of attendees will take place on Friday, May 30, beginning at 6 pm, and Saturday, May
31 at Exchange Place plaza on the Hudson River waterfront from noon to 9 pm. The festival will also host events throughout Jersey City leading up to the festival beginning Tuesday, May 27.

4th annual ALL ABOUT DOWNTOWN Jersey City Street Fair Kicks Off Sept 20th- Let the Fun Begin

 JC FESTIVAL SEPT 20The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID) will turn Newark Avenue & Grove Street Plaza into a lively festival of all that’s great about Historic Downtown Jersey City when ALL ABOUT DOWNTOWN brings local retailers, restaurateurs, artists and entrepreneurs out into the streets for a day of food, food and pizzazz.

.On Sat, Sept. 20, from 11 am to 6 pm, Grove Street Plaza & Newark Avenue will be bustling with 125 local vendors; over 15 food and fashion trucks; live music performances; fun activities for kids, cool trinkets from local retailers, and art from area artists.  It’s a little bit of everything that makes Historic Downtown Jersey City a very exciting place to be these days. The event is hosted by HDSID led by executive director Rachel Sieg.
