BAYONNE, NJ – CarePoint Health invites area residents to a free Diabetes program offered for those with type 1 or type 2 diabetes on Thursday, April 6 at CarePoint Health at Bayonne Medical Center. There will not be a program in March.
The CarePoint diabetes program is comprised of monthly seminars to help attendees manage their diabetes. Meetings are usually held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at Bayonne Medical Center, 29th Street and Avenue E. Dinner is included.
BAYONNE, NJ – About two dozen Bayonne High School students received instruction about applying for internships and jobs, as well as other business skills needed after graduation, at a special human resources workshop held for them.

The students are members of the Bayonne Junior Chamber of Commerce, a collaborative venture between the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce and the Bayonne School District. The program is supported by CarePoint Health and other chamber members.

Hudson County, New Jersey (July 2016) – A Bayonne Medical Center-CarePoint Health official recently met with some of those displaced by a five-alarm apartment house fire in June to provide additional assistance to them from the healthcare system.
Forty-seven residents of 455-461 Ave. C were left without a permanent place to live after the blaze totaled their building on June 18.
Fourteen of the former residents were gathered together on July 6 by Robert Wondolowski, CarePoint Health’s Bayonne community liaison, so he could present them with a $120 Walmart gift card per person to help them replace some of the items lost in the fire.
