Thirty-five percent of HCCC students are enrolled in Hudson Online courses. The College’s robust online learning infrastructure and student support teams help improve academic performance and student retention, leaving no one behind. The flexibility of more than 180 fully online or hybrid courses provides options for a wide range of academic pursuits and benefits everyone from high school graduates to working professionals, stay-at-home parents, adults with mobility issues, learning disabled students, ESL students, and more. Audio descriptions, text-to-speech tools, and closed captioning benefit students who are deaf or visually impaired. Clear navigation, interactive features, and easily understood content enhance student engagement and improve participation for those with cognitive challenges or sensory impairments.
HCCC offers 21 fully online certificate and degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Professions, Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, and STEM. Online students pay in-county tuition rates and have access to 24/7 on-demand tutoring and technical support throughout their educational journey, including the HCCC digital library, writing and tutoring centers, accessibility services, personal counseling, IT assistance, live student workshops, academic advising, and career coaching.

Hudson County Community College serves more than 20,000 credit and non-credit students annually. HCCC is one of two colleges in the United States to be named a Top Ten Finalist in all three program categories for the nationally recognized 2023 Bellwether Awards, and received the 2023 Bellwether Award for the College’s cutting-edge “Hudson Scholars” program, which also won the 2024 Bellwether Legacy Award.
