Amanda Unger and Lilian Makar were presented with awards for their artwork in the 22nd Annual Emerging Artists Exhibit sponsored by the Art Administrators of New Jersey. This exhibit featured artwork produced by students who are studying art in high schools throughout the state of New Jersey.

            Amanda, a junior, and Computer Graphics student of Mrs. Charlann Meluso, received a Merit Award for her image titled “Your Favorite Drug”.  It was a digital image of a snap shot of a prescription drug bottle spilling jewels onto a hand that is reaching into the photo, creating an illusion of a third dimension. Upcoming FHA Guideline Changes and April Tax Credit Deadline Mean The Time To Buy Is Now
Jersey City, N.J. (Mar. 3, 2010) – Trump Plaza Residences has been able to place many buyers into their dream homes at the 55-story Jersey City luxury condominium tower due in large part to the property’s FHA (Federal Housing Administration) loan-compliant status under which the federal government insures private loans to qualifying borrowers.
FHA mortgage terms for New Jersey, differentiating from county to county, allow for loans up to $729,000. The majority of prospective buyers at Trump Plaza Residences are first-time homebuyers seeking homes in the $450,000 to $600,000 price range, therefore qualifying for FHA financing. FHA loans have no income limits, allow for less-than-perfect credit histories and allow buyers to put down as little as 3.5 percent, compared to 10 to 20 percent for a conventional mortgage. JC Fridays was created in 2005 by a coalition of artists, arts organizations and local businesses that wanted to showcase Jersey City’s exciting and burgeoning cultural landscape. Today Art House Productions and JC Fridays’ Major Sponsors present this eagerly anticipated quarterly event, taking place at the start of every season, where both residents and visitors can celebrate the growing vibrancy and distinct charm that Jersey City has to offer. Since its inception, the number of participants has more than doubled through increasing outreach to Jersey City’s neighborhoods, organizations, businesses and artists. JC Fridays is made possible through a grant by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, with major support provided by the State of New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Program and a host of other sponsors and patrons. JERSEY CITY, NJ – For one day, volunteers from The Provident Bank (www.providentnj.com) headed back to the classroom to help teach life skills at Martin Luther King Jr. School, Public School #11 in Jersey City.
