The Dillin Adventure Team heads out to Support the “Tubbs Romp to Stomp”

Bruce Dillin does not strayed far from adventure a Bayonne business man and humanitarian he is always ready to help support a good cause. On Saturday, January 21st ,“The Dillin Adventure Team” heads out to Mountain Creek Resort, NJ to join a multitude of supporters in the “Tubbs Romp to Stomp, Snowshoe Series.”

The “ Tubbs Romp to Stomp, Snowshoe Series” was organized to help raise funds in order to stomp out breast cancer. Since its inception in 2003, the “Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series” has attracted nearly 23,000 people in the sport of snowshoeing and raised more than $1.8 million dollars, for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Jersey City Mayor’s Office & OEM Issues Reminders Ahead Of Winter Storm Warning

Keeping Corners Clear of Vehicles Makes Clean-up Easier & Less Costly

 

Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy and the Jersey City Office of Emergency Management are asking motorists to keep intersections clear and not park close to corners in preparation of the first snowstorm of the year which is expected to begin after midnight and last until the early evening Saturday.

Wind Turbine Delivery to Cause Traffic Detours in Bayonne, New Jersey

Son Cubano Restaurant Residents from the Roseland Properties on River Road and Several Son Cubano Vendors Hold Wine Tasting Event

EVENT TO  RAISE DESPERATELY  NEEDED  FUNDS TO FILL THE EMPTY COFFERS OF THE DIVINE KONECTION FOOD PANTRY IN WEST NEW YORK

West New York – December 22, 2011 – Tomorrow at 1:30pm a delivery truck filled with desperately needed food items will arrive at the Dvine Konection Food Bank and be unloaded into the now bare shelves of the West New York social services agency. The food was purchased with monies raised by Son Cubano Restaurant located on the West New York Waterfront.

 On December 12, Son Cubano held a wine tasting fund raiser which was exclusive to the residents of Riverwalk, Riverbend, Riveredge, Sheffield and Stonehenge. Residents were asked to donate $10.00 to participate in the Wine Tasting event. Three of Son Cubano’s vendors, Frank Garguillo & Sons, Ideal Meats, Inc. and Fidelis Security Services also made donations toward the event. What Recession? Underprivleged Kids Shop with SantaCops in Jersey City

 

JERSEY CITY – Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy and Police Department officials announced today that despite the current economic recession, commercial businesses, police officers and the community have pulled together to host a Shop With a Cop shopping holiday spree for needy children.

The event, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Target (100 14th Street, Jersey City), will feature a number of Jersey City police officers who will take 20 underprivileged children shopping for toys and other goodies. The event is sponsored by Target and the East Precinct Police District under the command of Capt. Joseph Connors.

4th grade students at St. Joseph of the Palisades Elementary School -West New York

Mrs. Luder’s 4th grade class did an excellent job creating models representing different ecosystems. Students used shoe boxes and other crafts for their projects. Projects, which are currently displayed outside the 4th grade classroom, include different environments, such as rainforests, deserts, and aquatic ecosystems. Fantastic job, 4th Grade!

The Dinosaurs Are Coming- Secaucus 24 Acre Park Opening May 2012

Presenting the Dinosaur Creator,Mr Gsell's: Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise and Secaucaus Mayor GonnelliPresenting his creation at the future site of the ‘Field Station: Dinosaurs a 24 acre educational park scheduled to open in May 2012 near Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus is the Exhibition Creator Guy G’sell, also in attendance was  Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise and Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli.

Sunday, December 4th showing is just the begining of what will become a Jurasic Park in Hudson County with 31 life -sized, animatronic (mechanically controlled dinosaurs that will roam along natural trails.

300,000 VISITORS PREDICTED FOR DINOSAUR PARK

 A select group of paleontologists, educators, government officials and a few very lucky children were on hand  Sunday December 4th  as New Jersey welcomed  its first walking, breathing, roaring T-Rex to Secaucus and the future site of Field Station: Dinosaurs. After months of speculation, the official announcement will be made in Hudson County’s Laurel Hill Park against the backdrop of a 150-million year old rock formation and within sight of the new attraction’s dramatic, untamed twenty-acre property.
