The recently formed Art Circle of Bayonne will have its first exhibit, beginning with an opening reception on Saturday, September 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Bayonne Community Museum, 229 Broadway, at 9th Street. That reception will be free and open to the public.
Mayor Mark A. Smith said, “I am looking forward to this exhibit. This is an exciting opportunity for local artists to show their work at the Bayonne Community Museum. Cameras and crews are covering multiple games throughout the area bringing unprecedented coverage of high school sports. This week, twelve New Jersey games will receive television coverage on MSG Varsity, Optimum TV channel 14. Those games are:

Komen for the Cure of Central & South Jersey, in partnership with Pink Ribbon Softball, Inc., are proud to sponsor the largest youth breast cancer charity softball tournament in the state of NJ. More than 1,000 young women will gather to compete and raise funds and breast cancer awareness.
