The New Jersey Treasury Department will mail applications for the current 2023 Senior Freeze program to the last address from which taxpayers filed.  Anyone who believes he or she is eligible but does not receive an application booklet by March 15 should call 1-800-882-6597 for assistance. 

The New Jersey Treasury advises that qualifying residents have the option to apply online through a new direct online filing service created by the Treasury in 2023. You can find the online filing portal at njportal.com/taxation/ptr.

I urge all Bayonne residents who are qualified to file for the Senior Freeze reimbursement for 2023. The deadline to file those 2023 applications is October 31, 2024.
