Â Â The region from the Statue of Liberty to the George Washington Bridge is known as the â€œGold Coastâ€ of New Jersey. For many this region provides a chance to see the sights, but for Scott Selleck this region is a special place, a place where many individuals and families can begin a â€œnew lifeâ€. A new life in a new home. A graduate of Ryder University in Lawrenceville, NJ, Selleck majored in Finance. He moved down to Florida and for several years worked for Barnett Bank. He left Barnett Bank and joined the real estate property management firm of Gerber & Somma. After working there for a year Selleck moved back to New Jersey where his experience and passion for the real estate business would once again lead him into another real estate management firm where he worked for several years. His drive and determination was strong and he set out and acquired his own brokerâ€™s license. Selleck decided that it was time to branch out on his own, so in the fall of 2001 he formed his own real estate property management firm and titled it, New Jersey Gold Coast Real Estate LLC. Saturday, October 13 Resurrection School Gym (Holy Rosary complex)189 Brunswick St (at Sixth St) Noon to 4 pm.

Children’s Activities Tour of Gardens along Embankment/Displays/Music/Refreshments, see park designs and give your ideas.

An August ruling by the STB gave city, county, and state governments a second chance to acquire the Embankment on reasonable terms. The Embankment Preservation Coalition views this win as an inspiring example of citizen collaboration.

The Embankment Coalition would like those who have helped or are interested in helping to come andÂ celebrate!.

Â Honoring The Many Who Have Helped

Between 1 and 2 pm individuals will be honored who contributed to the STB Petition, including: Governor Jon Corzine, U.S. Senators Robert Menendez and Frank Lautenberg, NJ State Senator Bernard F. Kenny, Jr., NJ State Assemblyman Louis M. Manzo, Hudson County Executive Thomas A. DeGise, Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy, Council President Mariano Vega Jr. and Members of the Municipal Council, and the neighborhood associations and individual citizens who sent statements and letters of support to the STB.

Madrid has been the capital of Spain since 1561. The city is built atop a sprawling mesa 2,150 feet high, making it Europeâ€™s highest capital, yet we did not feel we were in a hilly area. We traveled on foot during our entire three-day visit to Madrid, so we did not venture more than a couple miles in any direction from our hotel. Sometimes a development project can be so massive itâ€™s hard to wrap oneâ€™s head around it. You know that itâ€™s moving forward, but whereâ€™s the end?Â The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor fits this category. The Riverview Observer spoke with Nancy Kist, the Executive Director of the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority, to get an update on the ongoing project.

SOME HISTORY
In 1999 the US Army lowered the flag at MOTBYâ€”the Military Ocean Terminal, a 430-acre former military base that jaunts out into the Hudson River off of Rt 440.Â In 2002, the city of Bayonne took over complete ownership of MOTBY through the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority and renamed the property The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor. Since then the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority has been working to transform the old base into a world-class mixed-use waterfront community of residential, light industrial, commercial and recreational space. The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor is currently the largest redevelopment effort underway in the metropolitan region.Â

Domesticated animals are perilous in the form of Brucellosis. The prevention is exacting and treatment is cumbersome.

Brucellosis is an infectious disease that originates in animals and further attacks human beings. It is so named because the causative agent is a bacteria of the kind Brucella. It is usually seen to affect domestic animals like dogs, goats, cattle and pigs. The disease is omnipresent and generally widespread in developing nations. In the 19th century, it was called as Malta fever or Mediterranean fever. From the 20th century, it was referred to as undulant fever. The reason was that the fever falls and rises over some weeks in untreated patients.
