Actor Harrison Ford crashed his 1942 single-engine World War II training plane, a Ryan Aeronautical model ST3KR on Thursday. Ford crashed shortly after taking off from Santa Monica Airport and landed on Penmar Golf Course in Venice California.
According to NBC4 News the actor is fine and has been treated for some gashes.
A later report indicated that Ford walked away from the accident to a waiting ambulance.
Ford has survived previous plane and helicopter crashes in the past.
A video released by NBC4 News shows the plane Ford was piloting right before the crash.
