Super Trans Am Play in the Bayonne Summer Sounds Concert on Wednesday, August 21

Mayor Jimmy Davis announced that Super Trans AM will perform in the Summer Sounds by the Bay concert on Wednesday, August 14, at 7:00 p.m.  Super Trans AM is a unique and innovative theme band.  They play all of your favorite arena anthems and chart-topping radio hits of the ‘70’s.  Combining unparalleled musicianship with artistic and inspired A/V production, you’ll enjoy revisiting classic sing-alongs from one of the most definable decades in American history.

The concert will take place at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park.  The concert site is located below the foot of West 16th Street, between Avenue A and Newark Bay. The number of chairs available in the park is limited.  The Recreation Division suggests that members of the audience bring their chairs.

Bayonne summer sounds by the bay announces last show to be held september 2

2020 Summer Sounds by the Bay music series at DiDomenico-16th Street Park. 

On Wednesday, September 2, at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting, the Large Flowerheads will bring to life the musical sights and sounds of the groovy ’60s. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Sonny & Cher, The Mamas & The Papas, Tom Jones, The Monkees, Jefferson Airplane, and so many more! Note: This event was originally scheduled for August 12, but was postponed.

Mayor Jimmy Davis and the Division of Recreation have announced the remaining evening scheduled for the 2020 Summer Sounds by the Bay music series at DiDomenico-16th Street Park. 

Each performance will be begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will held at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay.

Please bring your own chair. Chairs will not be given out at the park.

Social distancing will be enforced at all times.

Face coverings are required when social distancing of six feet between individuals cannot be maintained, except where doing so would inhibit that individual’s health, or when an individual is in extreme heat. (Set forth by the New Jersey Department of Health).

            Mayor Davis announced that the City of Bayonne will present a Summer Sounds by the Bay concert by the Duprees on Wednesday, August 15, at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.  The Duprees are one of the favorite golden oldies recording groups. They are known all over the world for their romantic interpretations of some of the greatest songs of the 1960’s.  The Duprees sing You Belong to Me, Have You Heard, Why Don’t You Believe Me, and many more. Bayonne Summer Sounds by the Bay Entertainment Schedule

  Mayor Jimmy Davis announced that the City of Bayonne will present the Summer Sounds by the Bay concerts Wednesdays, from July 12 through August 23, at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. The concerts will be held at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay.  The schedule is as follows:
