The City of Bayonne is excited to announce the Veteran’s Day parade on Sunday, November 8th, 2026. The Parade will begin on 31st Street & Broadway and conclude on 23rd Street & Broadway. The Parade will start at American Legion Post 19 and finish at Catholic War Veterans Post 1612. The parade will begin at 12:00pm sharp.
The Division of Recreation will also be participating in the parade with “Project705.” There are currently 705 names of Veterans located on the Wall of Heroes in City Hall. The goal is to have every Veteran on the wall represented at the parade, as well as names of Veterans not included in the Wall of Heroes. The Division of Recreation will be providing 11X17 posters with a space for names of Veterans to be shown. On parade day, all those participating in Project705, will stand, in unison, along the parade route, as the parade commences.
Signs are available in City Hall Room #13, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 4pm, until Friday, November 6th and at the Bayonne Museum, Saturday, November 7th, from 2pm to 3pm.
For questions regarding the parade and Project705, may contact Pete Amadeo at 201-858-6127 or email BAYONNEREC@AOL.COM
