“The arts are one of the most important parts of education because they give you a place to discover who you are and what you’re capable of. This program has helped prepare me for the career I want and given me valuable exposure to an industry that can be really difficult to get into. Over the years, I’ve had opportunities and experiences that I never would have gotten anywhere else, and they’ve helped me grow not only as a performer, but as a person. Being part of a program that takes your passion seriously and gives you the tools to pursue it is something I’m incredibly grateful for,” said AJ Lemon, a Senior Musical Theatre Major.

The recognition reflects the continued strength of High Tech High School’s Media, Visual & Performing Arts Academy, which offers students hands-on training across disciplines including graphic arts, radio and television production, interactive media, theatre arts, and dance.
