Bayonne Parking Utility is Renewing Blue and White Zone Permits

The old permits for the Blue and White Zones will expire on June 30, 2020. There will be a grace period that will end on the morning of July 6, 2020.

The Blue Zone was created to protect on-street residential parking for the streets around the 22nd Street Light Rail Station. The Blue Zone includes the side streets from 16th Street through 26th Street, and the major streets from Avenue F to Avenue C.

The White Zone was created to protect on-street residential parking for the streets around Bayonne Medical Center. The White Zone includes the side streets from 27th Street through 30th Street, and the major streets from Avenue F to Avenue C.

For a detailed street listing for each zone, please visit the City website, www.bayonnenj.org.

When current residential parking permits get ready to expire, requesting new parking permits online is easy. Visit http://www.bayonnenj.org/ then click Parking Utility. If this is your first time visiting the site, you’ll need to create an account. Make sure to remember and write down the user name and password you select. You will need the user name and password to manage your vehicles and renew your permits in the future.

Click the option to apply for a permit, and then just follow the step-by-step instructions. You’ll upload all your documents there. The Bayonne Parking Utility will send an email to you when you are approved and your new virtual permit has been activated. If the Parking Utility needs more information from you before it can approve your permit request, you will be contacted by email.

Please be advised that there was a change last year to the visitor pass system. You will now be able to register a visitor vehicle online for up to 15 (fifteen) business days at a time, for up to 4 (four) times a year totaling 60 business days. After registering a visitor vehicle for more than 60 days, you will be required to apply for a residential parking permit for that vehicle. For extenuating circumstances, please contact the Bayonne Parking Utility by email at [email protected]
