The event will feature a talk, “Counting Heads – The History of the Census and How to Use it to Unlock Your Family Historyâ€; live 1940 Music preformed by Mark Wright; free “Census Cake†and coffee; and access to the media center with fourteen workstations where they will show you tips to find your 1940 families.
Admission is Free but space for the media center session is limited. Advance registration is suggested if you would like to take part in the media center research portion of the program.

New Meadowlands Racetrack LLC’s (NMRLLC) first off-track wagering (OTW) facility, Winners, is on target for a July opening in Bayonne. The 25,000 square-foot venue will boast two large simulcast viewing areas, a VIP room, and a 40-seat bar. The venue is expected to operate generally seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. until the end of racing and sports. McLoone’s will operate a custom-designed restaurant that emphasizes race and sports-viewing capabilities. With more than 150 television screens, plenty of on-site parking, and outdoor smoking lounges, the facility aims to please racing enthusiasts and sports fans alike.
