The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC) will be presenting two special, live performances of Richard O’Brien’s THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW this Saturday at the Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cove Cemetery. This is TTC’s fourth time producing this Sci-fi cult hit, which has gotten its own cult following within the Hoboken/Hudson County community.

“We are thrilled to be able to help support a local community organization like the Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cove Cemetery by presenting THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW at the cemetery,” notes Producing Artistic Director David Zimmerman. “We performed THE PRIATES OF PENZANCE there last July and had a wonderful reception from the audience and the volunteers at the cemetery.”

Because of the location, TTC will be presenting a more “in concert” version of the show, with minimal choreography, but full costumes, makeup, and music. The audience will be able to participate as they normally would and TTC encourages singing and dancing along as they present the songs as they were originally presented, on stage, before the movie was even made.

Audience members are encouraged to come in their favorite ROCKY HORROR costume and be ready to interact with the cast, which includes returning cast member Eric Anderson with whom originated the role of “Riff Raff” for TTC back in 2005. From this past October’s production, Jennifer Connor will be returning to the role of “Janet” as will Paul Kazlaski to the role of “Rocky.” Other cast members who will be coming back from past casts include: Muslimah Mays and Steven Slatten who are joined by TTC regulars and new company members alike: Kristina Asriyan, Julia Biera, Walter Free, Tara Kulbatski, Susan T. Mitchell, Charlotte Vaugh Raines, Christine Marie Walsh, Tim White, and Michael Reyna as Dr. Frank-N-Futer himself.
