The Downtown Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (DCNA) and NO Gas Pipeline, together with our panel guests below, will provide an update on the proposed Spectra Energy gas pipeline and what options are available if we need to overturn the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) ruling following the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) relative to Jersey City. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued their Final Environment Impact Study (FEIS) two weeks ago approving of Spectra’s plans to build a pipeline through the heart of Jersey City to deliver gas to Manhattan. For those not familiar with the plans, you can find a map of the route as well as other information on the NO Gas Pipeline WEBSITE.
