]]> The LA Lakers won thier 5th NBA Championship in 11 seasons by defeating the  BKN-NBA-FINAL-LAKERS–CELTICSBoston Celtics. The Lakers came back from a fourth quarter deficit beating the Boston Celtics 83-79 to win the NBA Championship. In front of the hometown crowd packed with regulars and movie stars Kobe Bryant scored 23 points and Ron Artest added another 20 points to give  the Lakers the championship.
