Sunday, December 4th showing is just the begining of what will become a Jurasic Park in Hudson County with 31 life -sized, animatronic (mechanically controlled dinosaurs that will roam along natural trails.

300,000 VISITORS PREDICTED FOR DINOSAUR PARK

 A select group of paleontologists, educators, government officials and a few very lucky children were on hand  Sunday December 4th  as New Jersey welcomed  its first walking, breathing, roaring T-Rex to Secaucus and the future site of Field Station: Dinosaurs. After months of speculation, the official announcement will be made in Hudson Countyâ€s Laurel Hill Park against the backdrop of a 150-million year old rock formation and within sight of the new attractionâ€s dramatic, untamed twenty-acre property.

Taking advantage of the natural beauty of the Meadowlands and its proximity to the Turnpike and NJ TRANSITâ€S Frank R. Lautenberg Rail Station at Secaucus Junction, Field Station: Dinosaurs will be an instant New Jersey landmark and cultural phenomenon before it even opens with projected attendance of over 300,000 guests in its first year.

“Dinosaurs ignite the imagination like nothing else.
They drive us to ask questions and to see ourselves and our world in a
different light,” says Guy Gsell, the creator of Field Station: Dinosaurs,
whose educational programs are being developed in cooperation with the stateâ€s
leading scientists.  “What weâ€re doing here is mounting an expedition into the past – every guest is a time traveler, every child is an explorer, and our goal is to dive head first into the
