July 11, 2018, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is offering college-level classes for the upcoming Fall semester on weekday evenings in Harrison, Kearny, Union City, and Bayonne. The classes will provide residents with flexibility and ease in taking basic and required courses in a variety of subjects close to home at convenient times.  Classes are scheduled for September 25 through December 19.

Students who take advantage of HCCC Off-Site classes receive the same quality instruction and personalized attention as students taking classes on the HCCC Journal Square or North Hudson campuses. Financial aid and Student Support Services are also available to assist students taking Off-Site classes.

The $25 application fee will be waived for students who use the code available online at https://www.hccc.edu/EveningWeekend/.

HCCC credit-classes will be offered at the following Off-Site locations this Fall:

• Harrison: Washington Middle School, 1 North 5^th Street, Harrison, NJ 07029
• Kearny: Kearny High School, 336 Devon Street, Kearny, NJ 07032
• Union City: Union City High School, 2500 J.F. Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, NJ 07087
• Bayonne: Bayonne High School 669 Avenue A, Bayonne, NJ 07002

These courses may also be audited. Those interested in taking Off-Site classes may register online or at Enrollment Services at the Journal Square or North Hudson campuses.

Dr. Reber comes to HCCC from Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) near Pittsburgh, PA, where he served as president from July 2014 to June 2018.  Prior to CCBC, Dr. Reber was the Executive Dean of Venango College of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where he was the chief executive and academic officer. His career also includes 18 years at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, where he served on the senior management team as the Chief Development, University Relations, and Alumni Affairs Officer during a successful $50 million capital campaign; and Chief Student Affairs Officer during a period of major college growth.

Dr. Reber holds a bachelorâ€s degree from Dickinson College, a masterâ€s degree from Bowling Green State University, and a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a post-graduate certificate from Harvard Universityâ€s Graduate School of Education.

JERSEY CITY, N.J. / April 14, 2011 – Hudson County Community College’s course schedules for the Summer and Fall 2011 terms are now available on campus and in Adobe Acrobat format at the College’s web site, http://www.hccc.edu/schedule.
 
Summer Session one will begin on Wednesday, May 18 and end on Thursday, June 30. Classes for Summer Session II will begin on Tuesday, July 5, and end on Monday, Aug. 15. Fall courses will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Registration for Summer and Fall is currently underway. Eligible students may register online at the College’s MyHudson portal, https://myhudson.hccc.edu.
