ROCK, HOP & JINGLE is coming to town! Sunday, December 4, 2011, 3pm – 7pm
PVS Gallery 49 Harrison Street, Hoboken, NJ

Beth Achenbach will be celebrating the two year anniversary of her event Ladies on The Mic with “Rock, Hop & Jingle” an awesome collaboration between Ladies on The Mic and PVS Gallery in Hoboken. “This is going to be another milestone for Ladies On The Mic and I am so grateful that co-creator’s Virginia Kamenitzer and Tara Thurber at PVS Gallery have opened up their hearts and wonderful space to us so the community can come together to celebrate and spread some good cheer,” Achenbach says.

Jill Heydet (Sinnamon) who is coming to town from Philadelphia will perform burlesque and Jersey City artist Beth Bentley will be starting the event off with her comedic interpretation of The Nutcracker. Musical performances include Found Wandering, the husband and wife duo Colin & Sarah Comstock from Pennsylvania, whose folk style and beautiful vocals will surely get you in the holiday spirit. As well as performances by recording artist J Ross Parrelli who will be
putting the “Hip Hop” in Rock, Hop & Jingle, solo vocalist Christina Alessi from Bloomfield, and The Harmonious Hubleys, a group consisting of four sisters from Denville. There will also be a special musical tribute to Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas by Virginia Kamenitzer, her brother Eddie Kamenitzer and their friends.

In addition to the entertainment portion of the event there will be artists, knitters, jewelry makers and other crafters from the local area selling their wares so you can do some holiday gift buying. Made With Love Café, a Jersey
City based business will also be on hand selling both savory and sweet goods.
“We think of Made With Love Café as our home base since that is where Ladies OnThe Mic started two years ago so of course we wanted them to be a part of this great celebration,” says co-organizer Beth Achenbach. Other vendors include
Kimberly Scarano, Sherin Hanafy, Celeste Sales, Tina Maneca, Stacey Dunleavy, and Kayt Hester.
