HELP UNDER-PRIVILEGED CHILDREN, THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

The Jersey City Police Department, East District, is preparing for their 13th Annual Children’s Christmas Party. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 2007, at P.S. 4 located on Bright and Grand Streets, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Unwrapped children’s toys and donations will be accepted until December 14, 2007. Please drop off gifts at the East District, 207 7th Street, or pick-up arrangements can be made through Officer Dina Reilly at 201-547-5470, Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:00, after hours please contact Officer Frank Molina at 201-481-7673. Donations can be made by check to “East District Toy Drive.”

Thanks to the generosity of the community, last year’s event was a tremendous success. Last year “Santa” and his police officers distributed several hundred gifts to under-privileged children residing within the East District.
