Johnny Rockets invites locals and visitors to celebrate the grand opening of its new restaurant at Newport Centre in Jersey City on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 4-7 p.m. Guests will enjoy a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Franchise Owner Bill White, samples of Hamburgers and Shakes, and will have the opportunity to win a raffle for a $100 gift card. Guests who come dressed as a rock ‘n’ roll icon will receive a free sodapop and the chance to win a $50 gift card.

Celebrations continue throughout the weekend with a “Hula Ring Rally” on Friday from 4-7 p.m. All participants will receive a free order of onion rings and the winner will receive a $50 gift card. “Tweet for a Treat” takes place all day Saturday and Guests who show they posted about the restaurant on Twitter will receive a free float or American Fries. Finally, on Sunday, Guests who dance with the Johnny Rockets crew will receive a free chocolate, vanilla or strawberry Shake, and a chance to win a $50 gift card grand prize.

The new Johnny Rockets is located at 30 Mall Drive West in Jersey City and joins 15 eateries in the 1,000-seat food court on the third floor of Newport Centre, Hudson County’s premier shopping destination. This marks the fourteenth Johnny Rockets in New Jersey and, like all Johnny Rockets restaurants, features the fun, food and a friendly environment reminiscent of classic Americana.
