Even though there are over 25 stops on the tour, the tour is designed so that you can walk from one studio, gallery or group exhibition to the next. Visitors will have a chance to meet the artists, photographers, sculptors & artisans in their own studios, where they can witness the creative process at work.
Media ranges from classical figurative realism and abstract expressionism to sculptures and photographic computer generated images; oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics and multi media collage. In addition, students of the Hoboken Charter High School are creating “The Healing Wall†Reflections of Hurricane Sandy. “A wall is made of individual bricks, together they create a foundation and more importantly, they create a community†We invite everyone to come to City Hall, 94 Washington Street on Sat. & Sun. Nov. 17th & 18th from noon to 6pm, during the Hoboken Artist’s Studio Tour, and join in their efforts in uniting the Hoboken Community. They  are a service learning school. During the year the students participate in school wide, k-12 service learning programs. In addition, their Peace Jam chapter donates books to the hospital, cooks and serves guests in the shelter, focuses on recycling in our school, plants trees, raises money for programs and more. Their  Interact Club is currently collecting money to raise awareness about lung cancer. They created a fund in memory of a student’s father, and will donate some of the collection to the Lung Cancer Circle of Hope Foundation in NJ. Service Learning to the  students doesn’t mean talking about change, they  make the change. Students united in the  Healing Wall project in our efforts to support the City of Hoboken. =
