 About National Library Week:

National Library Week was first sponsored in 1958, and is celebrated with a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country, which takes place each April. During this annual celebration, we recognize the contributions of our nation’s libraries, and all those who support our libraries. This year, National Library Week is recognized during the week of April 13th through the 19th.
