LIBERTY HUMANE SOCIETY to host Hamilton BARK Festival on Saturday, June 20 from 12 noon – 7 pm

Hamilton Bark in the Park  Liberty Humane Society will host the second annual Hamilton BARK Festival, at Hamilton Park, Jersey City, NJ on Saturday June 20th from 12-7pm.  At its core, Hamilton BARK is a one-day community festival and fundraiser for LHS, including live entertainment and activities for children, adults, and four-legged family members.

This year, in addition to all of the excitement from the first Hamilton BARK festival, we’re adding a brand new attraction, a Canine Field Day!  We’ll host hours of on-leash games and contests for dog-owners and their pets to participate in, all led by a professional trainer.  A donation of $10 per dog gives access to 3 sessions of games to challenge basic obedience skills and introduce new and fun way to interact with your dog, even on leash.  Pre-registration for Canine Field Day is available at www.libertyhumane.org

Other attractions include:

  • Live music coordinated by Dancing Tony of Rock-It Docket
  • Beer Truck by Lucky 7’s Tavern and Brooklyn Brewery
  • Low Cost Pet Microchipping sponsored by Merck Animal health
  • Food Trucks
  • Adoptions on site
  • A children’s carnival and activity section
  • Bounce House
  • Face Painters
  • Table-top Vendors run by Local Businesses, celebrating Jersey City’s vibrant downtown community and thriving entrepreneurship
  • Location at one of Jersey City’s most popular public spaces, two blocks from Newport Centre
