MARIST HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT’S VIDEO PRODUCTION FEATURED ON MSG VARSITY’S HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

 

Season Two of Bi-Weekly Show airs Tri-State Area Students Video Productions

 

Marist video photoBETHPAGE, N.Y., December 18, 2012 – MSG Varsity’s High School Life, a student-produced monthly show, that presents student created videos and features ranging from academics to art to events, will feature a video production by Marist High School senior Tyler Rana titled Senior Fall Trip to Washington D.C. The Marist segment is one of ten that will appear in the upcoming episode of High School Life, which will air on Saturday, December 22, at 12:00 p.m. on MSG Varsity, Optimum TV channel 14.

 The Marist High School segment takes viewers alongside the seniors who visited the nation’s capitol. The segment began at the tomb of the unknown soldier with the changing of the guards, and from there it went on to show famous monuments and memorials that comprise the US’s rich history.

“Part of our mission at MSG Varsity is to help educate students about television production through our media creation program,” said Michael Lardner, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of MSG Varsity. “Our student-produced shows give us a platform to showcase what kids are learning and accomplishing in those classes.”
