Frank’s Theater in Bayonne to Take Part in Simulcast

Select Clearview Cinemas, Frank Theatres, Marquee Cinemas, National Amusements and Rave Cinemas in New Jersey to Showcase this Fundraising Concert at Madison Square Garden to Benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund to Aid Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Florham Park, New Jersey, December 5, 2012 –In an effort to share the extraordinary “12-12-12” concert for Sandy Relief with many of those most impacted by this storm, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, The Madison Square Garden Company and The Weinstein Company today announced that this unprecedented event will be simulcast live in select movie theaters in hurricane-affected areas throughout the tri-state region, including in eight Clearview Cinemas, two Frank Theatres, a Marquee Cinema, a National Amusements Multiplex and a Rave Cinemas Multiplex in New Jersey. This presentation will be FREE of charge to all attendees and complimentary refreshments will be provided.

Select Clearview Cinemas in Closter, Kinnelon, Ocean, Parsippany, Ridgewood, South Orange, Succasunna and Wayne; the Frank Theatres in Bayonne and Egg Harbor Township; a Marquee Cinema in Toms River; a National Amusements Multiplex in Edgewater; and a Rave Cinemas Multiplex in Hazlet will participate. Free tickets are available now at the participating theater box offices, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Event producers James Dolan, John Sykes and Harvey Weinstein issued the following joint statement: “The live simulcast of this historic benefit concert in movie theatres will provide a welcome opportunity for those people still recovering from the devastation to have an enjoyable and much-needed night out. Seeing this incredible all-star lineup on the big screen and hearing it in surround sound will certainly make for a memorable evening.”

This special one-night-only live music event will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund and help provide assistance to people throughout the tri-state area who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. “12-12-12” The Concert For Sandy Relief, will take place on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The all-star lineup includes Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney, with other artists to be announced.

The concert is being produced by James Dolan, Executive Chairman of The Madison Square Garden Company; John Sykes, President of Clear Channel Entertainment Enterprises; and Harvey Weinstein, Co-Founder and Chairman of The Weinstein Company. The concert is being presented by Chase.

Thanks to the generosity of concert organizers, sponsors, and Robin Hoodâ€s board of directors, every single penny from ticket purchases and donations will go to serve the victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which is providing money, material and know-how to local organizations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the storm.

        Bayonne’s  Mayor Mark A. Smith announced that Hurricane Sandy recovery assistance is available from New Jerseyâ€s Clean Energy Program.  Mayor Smith said, “I urge both residents and business owners to apply for the financial assistance and environmental savings available from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.  The program offers rebates and equipment incentives that could help homes and businesses get back up and running.”

            If you install new appliances, the Clean Energy Program can offer rebates when you purchase high-efficiency equipment.  Businesses can benefit, too.  Rebates to businesses are available through the New Jersey SmartStart Buildings Program.  Businesses can receive rebates if they need to replace equipment damaged by the storm.  Eligible equipment includes HVAC; motors and drives; lighting and lighting controls; water heating; and refrigeration.

            The Clean Energy Program can offer a variety of rebates for qualified purchases.  Here are some examples: furnace or boiler, up to $400; heat pump, $500; central air conditioner, $500; water heater, $300; and clothes washer, $50.

kicked off a strong holiday season full of cheers, tears and hope 

 Asbury Park, NJ (November 27, 2012) - This past weekend, the Asbury Park Boardwalk proved itself that there is no off-season on the boardwalk. The energy and excitement was high-octane as over 700 people celebrated life in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. All shows and events for the Holiday Season will resume as scheduled based in Convention Hall during the ongoing restoration to the boardwalk.  This was the first tree lighting on the Jersey Shore which symbolized perseverance and hope for the entire state of New Jersey.

 There will also be FREE PARKING UNTIL JANUARY 1st.
