Unveiling of Works of Art in Downtown Bayonne: City officials joined artists and others for the unveiling of seven works of art that were painted on utility boxes and former fire alarm boxes from 5th Street to 9th Street. Artists show their work at newest exhibition in Bayonne
The Art Circle of Bayonne announced that the opening reception for its next art exhibit will take place on Friday, February 8, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at the Bayonne Community Museum. The museum is located at the northwest corner of 9th Street and Broadway. This exhibit will include watercolors, photography, acrylics, oil paintings, and mixed media. The opening night event will include a demonstration of charcoal sketching by artist Tuan Tran, the owner of Bee’s Art Studio. Mayor Mark A. Smith said, “I would like to thank the Art Circle of Bayonne for sponsoring this exhibit at the museum.” He continued, “My Administration is a strong supporter of the arts.
