Jersey City Fashion Week announces former Superbowl Champion Darrell Reid as a VIP designer for the “A Walk-thru in the Park” show on Thursday September 25, 2014.

Jersey City, September 2014: Jersey City Fashion Week (JCFW) announces that Darrell Reid will be showcasing his DRLM clothing line at Jersey City Fashion Week on September 25, 2014 at Maritime Park.

Darrell Reid is a former NFL player and Superbowl Champion who is also a part of the Give to Live Charity Board. After the former linebacker met L.A. designer Larae Mychél at Jersey City Fashion Week in January 2014, the two teamed up to design a men’s clothing line inspired by Reid.

Jersey City Fashion Week announces Nathan Paul of Project Runway fame as an emerging and VIP designerfor the “Catwalk in the Park” show on Saturday September 27, 2014.

 

 

Jersey City, August 2014: Jersey City Fashion Week (JCFW) announces that Project Runway season 10 contestant Nathan Paul will be showcasing his designs at this up and coming Jersey City Fashion Week at the Upscale Fashion Event with emerging designers.

 

Nathan Paul McDonald is an Ohio native influenced by music and the fluid movement of the human body. Nathan believes his design aesthetic comes from his knowledge of materials and the properties specific to their nature. He is a graduate of the Fashion Institute Technology and was awarded the FIT Critic’s Award for Eveningwear.

Helen Castillo, a Hudson County native, was a contestant on Lifetime’s Project Runway

Season 12. Castillo is known for her one of a kind couture designs which were shown during Project Runway Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week show. Her design aesthetic is partial but not limited to eveningwear, ready-to-wear, and bridal. In 2013 she was the “Vogue Young Talents’” design winner and has worked for industry legends like Vivienne Westwood and Vera Wang. This year she will be honored during the JCFW VIP Fashion Show as JCFW 2014 Person of Influence.
