16th Annual No Pants Subway Ride
16th Annual No Pants Subway Ride is back and will take place on Sunday, January 8th this year. If you never heard of this event it is an annual event staged by Improv Everywhere every January in New York City.
Started many years ago as a small prank with seven guys has grown into an international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the world participating each year.
The idea behind No Pants is simple: Random passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants. The participants behave as if they do not know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants.
The 16th Annual No Pants Subway Ride will take place on January 8 in New York York City. Full participation details including meeting point locations can be found below:

Bayonne’s Music on Broadway Friday December 16, 2016
 LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT IN RESTAURANTS A PLUS FOR PATRONSÂ
The Bayonne Urban Enterprise Zone  (UEZ) and member businesses part of the UEZ are currently hosting a weekly event MUSIC ON BROADWAY.
Now in its fourth week the event has provided restaurant goers some incredible music while they sit  and eat in their favorite haunts.
Most of these restaurants and venues have  never had entertainment before the program and the public has enjoyed it to date.
The concept for the event was first started when the Bayonne Urban Enterprise Zone hosted Monday Music at the Museum a monthly series which brought bands into the Bayonne Commuinity Museum this past spring.
The series organizer Terry Young along with Dee Dee Bottino of the Bayonne UEZ have put together a talented group of 20 musicians who on a weekly basis rotate within the 18 various venues .
The next MUSIC ON BROADWAY will be held this Friday, December 16th with the following musicians, venues and times:

HONORING HEROES Â Jersey City Veterans Day Parade kicks-off Sat, Nov. 12 at noon
 Standing up for Those Who Serve and Those who have Fallen

In these troubled times, the U.S. turns to its military, the men and women (and four-legged, bomb-sniffing soldiers) to protect America’s freedom and democracy.
On Sat, Nov. 12, starting at noon, Jersey City Mayor and U.S. Marine Veteran Steven M. Fulop and the Mayor’s Office of Veterans Affairs, local U.S. military men and women and other dignitaries will lead the 2nd annual Parade of Veterans and Heroes followed by a Veterans Resource Fair that will be held at City Hall until 5 pm.
The Parade of Veterans and Heroes is open to anyone who would like to march, especially men and women who are serving and have served in the military. Registration for participants will begin at 10 am at the Historic Jersey City Harsimus Cemetery on Newark Avenue near Dickinson High School. (You can also register online.) 7th Annual Hamilton Park BBQ Festival Saturday, September 24th, 2016 Noon to 8pm
Jersey City, NJ –THE HAMILTON PARK CONSERVANCY presents the 7th Annual Hamilton Park BBQ Festival, Saturday, September 24, 2016, noon to 8 pm, at McWilliams Place, on the east side of Hamilton Park. The BBQ Festival is a fun, end of summer neighborhood event. Proceeds of the Hamilton Park BBQ Festival benefit the Hamilton Park Conservancy (501(c)(3) dedicated to assisting the city in the maintenance, improvement and preservation of the five-acre Victorian-era park in the historic district of Hamilton Park. The Conservancy is responsible for the Lawn Renovation Program, and maintenance of two community tennis courts. The park was named for founding father Alexander Hamilton by his friend and fellow federalist, John B. Coles.
