Ashley Furniture HomeStores of Central New Jersey has delivered beds to three Bayonne families in need this autumn, and plans to make additional deliveries in December. The donations are part of the HomeStore’s A Hope 2 Dream project, which the company coordinated locally with the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation (BEOF). Ashley Furniture Homestore, which has locations in North Brunswick, Linden, Eatontown, Freehold, and Woodbridge, approached BEOF Executive Director Ana Quintela about helping people in Bayonne. Quintela helped identify BEOF clients who needed assistance obtaining beds for their families.
Mayor Mark A. Smith said, “I would like to thank Ashley Furniture HomeStores of Central New Jersey for its generosity to children here in Bayonne. I would also like to thank the BEOF for working closely with Ashley to make A Hope 2 Dream a reality for local families. This kind of program can make a big difference in the lives of children.” Quintela said, “During the past year, the BEOF has looked for new ways to help people in need. The HomeStore’s A Hope 2 Dream is a great new example of generosity in this area. The BEOF is very grateful that Ashley has joined the growing list of businesses partnering with the BEOF to improve the quality of life for Bayonne residents.”
